This is the entry to the pantry.
This is the addition with our refridgerator and freezer
This is the living room. Doesn't it look different with the wood paneling gone? I like it. Dad is not so sure.
This is the other side of the living room/Hallway.

There is still just a little bit of siding to be finished. They ran a new gas line. I'm no longer using butane, I 'm going to be hooked up to natural gas. Next will be the drywall. Aaron was waiting on the gasline. Anytime the do anything, I'm encouraged again. I'VE ORDERED THE LAMINATE FOR THE FLOORS. I've finally convinced Dad that we need to remove the wood paneling in the living room. He was dead set against it. I told him it was dated...I want to hide the big black cord for the heater... and I don't think there is any insulation in the front wall, so... hopefully they can correct all that stuff. I love you all so much. Let me hear from you.

Theroof is finished.

There are no leaks. We have had plenty of rain to prove this. However... The porch still needs some work
The trim around the windows could be done and there is some siding in the back that needs to be finished.

This is the new color for the laundry room.

I wish I could show you more pictures of what's being done, but nothing more has been done since Tom cut the hole in the hall. I just hope the house will be livable when you all come for Thanksgiving. Kinda discouraged.

Dad sure enjoys the doorway they cut through the hallway

This is what they found when they tried to take out that wall. They think is is structural so they will have to leave it in and work around it

These are the cabinets that I've painted. Anyway the doors to the cabinets.

They will go in the laundry room

Here's a picture of our new freezer. The insulation is in the wiring is almost done. The hardest part of the wiring was tracing the wires back to thier origin and elimating them. He spent alot of time in the attic. There was alot of inventive ways to do things when the original wiring was done. He said that was normal for older houses. (no codes) The plumbing is done, and they will sheet rock this week. You can also see some of the can lights in the ceiling. Tom will be cutting the doorway through the hall tomorrow. I need to empty all of the cupboards so we will be living out of boxes from here on until the new cabinets get put in. FUN FOR EVERYONE!

They left my sink in but the wall is gone.
He's going to leave it until they get the other countertops in place.

What do you think of the color of the shingles?

The front is roofed. I really like the way it looks

The roofer has been having such a hard time. It's been so wet he can't run a chalk line. It's going slowly, but It"s goimg
